Details
Young Lions: Lions who are 45 years old or younger.Â
Women: Do you always have a women majority in your cabinets? Consider challenging yourself with increasing the number of young Lions this time.
Background
YLLC Team were on stage or among the audience in the sessions at Lions Europa Forum 2024, Bordeaux.
In the session titled Women and Young People: FVDG Pieter Haex (42, former Leo, D110 AN) asked First Vice International President Arvinder Pal Singh to choose half of his board appointees from women and young Lions.Â
AP challenged him back and pledged that he'll do it if CA IV's district cabinets do it first.Â
Leaders of Change
The list of acceptances will be handed over to AP at the Q Centre in St. Charles (USA) in February 2025.

Four Goals
We have less than six months until 2023-2024 ends.Â
So, we designed only four goals which are simple but effective.
And each of them can be achieved in 2023-2024.
Leo Goals
Among the four goals: two of them are for Leos.
We'll have more goals for Leos next year after consulting with District Leo Officers, Leo District Officers, ILOs and Leo Advisory Panel.
Read and Vote
Read the goals below.
And then vote for them using the poll at the end of this page.
In the poll, you can also suggest YLLC Goals for 2024-2025.
Deadline to vote: 15 February 2024.
In short
Make sure that each and every Lion and Leo in your district knows about Young Lions and Leos Covenant (YLLC).

Resources

Emails
If you're a multiple district with a mailing system, it can be efficient to send an email from the system to all members in the multiple district at once.
Social Media
Make sure that you post in your district's Lion account and Leo account since each audience might follow different feeds.
In short
Translate Connecting to Young Lions Guide into your language and distribute its digital copy to your Lions. Get feedback from the Lions clubs how it shaped their multigenerational partnership.
Deadline
For 2024-2025Â
Whenever you see fit.
For 2023-2024Â
1 May 2024 Distribution
15 June 2024 Feedback
Details
Please check translation, distribution and feedback details below.

Translation
Adobe Acrobat Pro can be a good tool to translate the words while keeping the visuals intact.
Shortcuts
If you're an MD speaking the same language, it can be efficient to ask one of your districts or one of your MD officers to translate the guide for the entire MD.
If your district is speaking one of the LCI's official languages, the guide might have been already translated and uploaded in our international website.Â
Distribution
Make sure that each and every Lion member receives the digital copy. And not just the Lion officers.Â
Shortcuts
Digital copies will save your district time and expenses needed for print out and postal services.
If you're an MD with a mailing system, it can be efficient to send the copy from the system to all members in the MD at once.
Feedback
Make sure that you collect the feedback from as many Lions as possible.
Tips
It would benefit the process if the feedbacks are given in a positive environment.
#ChangingtheWorld is a journey. So keep in mind that what the clubs changed and what the clubs planned to change are both important.Â
In short
Make a peer networking event for Young Lions in your district.
Deadline
For 2024-2025Â

This goal is for Young Lions.
Focus group
The event is for Lions 18-40 years of age in your district to let Young Lions in one club know more about the Young Lions in other clubs.
Ideas
Make the event for Lions 18-45 years of age if it fits your district better.
Invite Leos 18-30 years of age if it fits your district better.
Venue
The event can be online, in person or outdoors as long as its time and place fit the lifestyle of the participants.
Ideas
Consider having breakout sessions based on professions, common interests or age groups to let members know each other better.
Our goal is to have a single event in 2023-2024 and then plan more for following years. But if you feel confident, feel free to do more in your starting year.
Agenda
The event can be just a coffee break where everyone introduces themselves and shares contact information.Â
Ideas
It can also include a hands-on service project, a workshop or another activity.
In short
Check the numbers of Young Lions and Leos in your district each month. Share the numbers with all members in your district and celebrate them when the numbers are kept or increased.Â
Deadline
Monthly recurring goal: 1st day of each month.

Check
Check the numbers of how many Lions 18-40 years of age you have in your district on the first day of each month (March, April, May, June).
Check the numbers of Leos on the same dates.Â
Shortcuts
Cabinet/council secretaries are good candidates to check the numbers of Lions.
Share
Share the numbers with each and every Lion and Leo in your district. So all members can learn the monthly status in your district and be motivated to join MISSION 1.5.Â
Shortcuts
If you're an MD, consider sharing the numbers of each district in a single communication. This way, members in each district could make a constructive comparison.
Council chairpersons, district governors, GMT coordinators and their Leo partners are good candidates to share the numbers.
Celebrate
Celebrate your district if you kept or increased the numbers in comparison to previous month.
The celebration can be an inspiring congratulations note or anything else you can think of. It can include the clubs, officers or anyone you see fit.
Shortcuts
Consider sharing the numbers and celebrating the results in the same communication for efficiency.
Council chairpersons, district governors, GMT coordinators and their Leo partners are good candidates to celebrate the numbers.
