Young Lions and Leos Covenant (YLLC)

This covenant is a memorandum of understanding.

A first step among European districts to set concrete goals in the future.

Lions and Leos in the signatory district of this covenant

• Express their mutual desire to encourage empowerment of youth leadership.

• Intend to provide opportunities, tools and resources to Young Lions and Leos in all levels of our association: club, district and multiple district.

• Acknowledge that Leos are Leo leaders of today and Lion leaders of tomorrow.

• Consider members of all ages, including Young Lions and Leos, as partners of today in service, membership, leadership, marketing, and organizational skills.

• Plan collaboration to ensure that Young Lions and Leos lead service projects, access membership opportunities, participate in leadership trainings, experience leadership positions, feature in marketing and build peer networking.

• Plan to ensure the foregoing by exchanging best practices, holding follow up meetings, having joint projects and on-site events among districts.

Our intention is to build a strong multigenerational partnership today.

To ensure that Lions clubs keep serving our communities in the future.
